Money or company - what matters most?

Did you know 8 in 10 over 60s own their home in England, and this housing is worth a staggering £1.2 trillion?

We’re a nation of homeowners, yet the number and quality of properties for older people to buy is woeful.

Government and industry blame the poor supply on a lack of money, but housing wealth equivalent to the size of the entire country’s debt is loads of money in my view!

Two things need to happen. One - we need a new lifestyle choice that provides older people with a warm and convivial environment where they can still enjoy independence, choice and control.

And two - we must rethink our attitude to the family home.  Will a four-bed semi stop us from getting lonely, provide support when we need it and ensure we enjoy a good quality of life as we age?

We’re building Evermore, a new type of family living where people own a purpose-built apartment but share their life with a group of like-minded friends, supported by a team dedicated to their health and wellbeing.

Are you prepared to swap bricks and mortar for the chance to live happier, for longer?
